For buyers
Know what you’re buying.
Search any New Zealand address. If an independent building report exists, access it for $89–$189 and read the full sealed findings before you make an offer. Same report every other buyer sees. No hidden versions.
What you get
One report. Everything you need.
A sealed NZS 4306:2005 inspection report, shared with all parties who need it. No seller spin, no redacted version, no surprises at the last minute.
01
Truly independent
Reports are commissioned through Final, not by the seller or agent. The inspector has no stake in whether you buy. What is written is what was found.
02
Pay once, not twice
Instead of commissioning your own $700 inspection, access the same independent report for $89–$189. One report shared fairly across every buyer on the property.
03
Instant access
Search the address, pay, and read the full report online immediately. No waiting for a surveyor to become available, no scheduling, no delays.
04
Full reliance
Your access comes with formal reliance on the report. The same legal protection you would get from commissioning your own inspection, without the $700 price tag.

Common questions
Buyer FAQ
Why should I trust a report I did not commission?
Final reports are prepared by accredited inspectors who are independent of all parties in the transaction. Reports are sealed on completion and delivered unchanged to every buyer. The inspector carries professional indemnity insurance, and your access includes formal reliance on the findings.
How old can a report be?
Reports reflect the property on the day of inspection. Most buyers use reports within a few months of the inspection date. The date is always shown before you pay so you can judge whether it is recent enough for your needs.
What if there is no report for the property I want?
You can request a new inspection through Final. We will match you with a verified inspector in the area. Most inspections are scheduled within 1–3 business days, with the report delivered 24–48 hours after the visit.
Can I share the report with my lawyer or builder?
Yes. Every report comes with a secure share link you can send to your lawyer, builder, mortgage broker, or anyone else involved in your purchase decision.
What does $89–$189 include?
Full access to the sealed NZS 4306 report: executive summary, room-by-room findings, photo evidence, moisture readings, and a downloadable PDF. No extras, no upsells.
Do I get a credit if I later order my own inspection?
Yes. If you access a report and later order a new inspection through Final for the same property, your access fee is credited toward the new inspection cost.
