Buyers
Know what you’re buying.
Search any New Zealand address. If an independent report already exists, unlock the full sealed findings for $89–$189 and read them before you make an offer. The same report every other buyer sees, with no edited version.
What you get
One report. Everything you need.
Truly independent.
Reports are commissioned through Final, not by the seller or the agent. The inspector has no stake in whether you buy. What is written is what was found.
Pay once, fully backed.
Unlock the same independent report for $89–$189 instead of commissioning your own $700 inspection, and your access carries formal reliance on the findings.
Read it in minutes.
Search the address, unlock, and read the full report online straight away. No waiting for a surveyor, no scheduling, no delay before you can act.
How it works
Three steps to clarity.
-
Search the address.
Enter the property address on Final. If a report exists, you see a summary of findings, the inspection date, and the price to unlock it.
-
Unlock the report.
Pay $89–$189 to read the full sealed report: structure, moisture, roof, exterior, interior, services, and photo evidence.
-
Read, share, and decide.
Read it online or download the PDF. Share a secure link with your lawyer, builder, or broker. Use the findings to negotiate, or walk away.
No report on the property yet? Request a new inspection and we coordinate an accredited inspector.

Common questions
The things buyers ask first.
Why should I trust a report I did not commission?
Every report is prepared by an accredited inspector who is independent of the buyer and the seller. Reports are sealed on completion and delivered unchanged. The inspector carries professional indemnity insurance, and your access includes formal reliance on the findings.
How old can a report be?
A report reflects the property on the day of inspection. Most buyers use reports within a few months of that date. The date is always shown before you pay, so you can judge whether it is recent enough for your needs.
What if there is no report for the property I want?
You can request a new inspection through Final. We match you with a verified inspector in the area. Most inspections are scheduled within 1–3 business days, with the report delivered 24–48 hours after the visit.
Can I share the report with my lawyer or builder?
Yes. Every report comes with a secure share link you can send to your lawyer, builder, mortgage broker, or anyone else involved in the decision.
What does $89–$189 include?
Full access to the sealed NZS 4306 report: the summary, room-by-room findings, photo evidence, moisture readings, and a downloadable PDF. No extras, no upsells.
Do I get a credit if I later order my own inspection?
Yes. If you unlock a report and later order a new inspection through Final for the same property, your access fee is credited toward the new inspection.
